Fine Art & Photography Show & Sale is coming this April!
We will have our 96th annual Fine Art & Photography Show & Sale April 9-11, 2026. Our judge this year is Deanna Frye. Postmark deadline for PAPER entry forms & entry fee payment (unless paying by PayPal) is Tuesday, March 31, 2026. Deadline for ONLINE entries is 11:59 p.m. Monday, April 6, 2026. Paper entry forms can be downloaded here. You will need a PDF reader to open the entry form. Entry forms may be printed/copied as many times as necessary.
Online entry procedure:
- Read the show rules, then enter your full name & check the box to agree to the abide by all rules.
- Be sure to choose the correct entry form from the drop-down menu (Youth for ages 4-18, Adult for ages 19 & older). Then click the Continue button to proceed to the online entry form.
- Complete all required fields in the form, click the appropriate payment button, & pay the total fee due. (*NOTE: Youth entering only 1 piece will not pay an entry fee. You just need to click the Submit button.)
- We will have a record of your entries & payment, so you only need to deliver your artwork on check-in day!

PayPal or debit/credit card payment procedure (you do not need a PayPal account):
- Download & fill out a paper entry form.
- If you want to pay with PayPal or debit/credit card for your entry fee, check "Yes" on the artist information portion of the entry form.
- Provide a valid email address on the form.
- Mail the form to the address printed on the form.
- When we receive your entry form, we will invoice you through PayPal, using the email address you provided.
- Click the link in the email you receive, and pay with a credit/debit card or with your PayPal account (if you have one).
- We will have a record of your payment, so you only need to deliver your artwork on check-in day!
- Mail postmark deadline (for Adult entries only) for PAPER entry forms & fee (if paying by check/money order): Tuesday, March 31, 2026.
- Submission deadline (for Adult entries only) for ONLINE entry forms: 11:59 p.m. Monday, April 6, 2026.
- Check-in/late registration of artwork: Thursday, April 9, 2026, from 12 noon-6:00 p.m.
- Judging: Friday, April 10, 2026
- Opening reception: Friday, April 10, 2026, 5:00-7:00 p.m.
- Show open to the public: Saturday, April 11, 2026, 9:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m.
- Pickup of entries after show: Saturday, April 11, 2026, 4:00-5:00 p.m. All art must be picked up by 5:00 p.m. on this day! HCAC is NOT responsible for art left after 5:00 p.m.!
ATTENTION: All ADULT entry forms must be postmarked by Tuesday, March 31, 2026! Any not postmarked by this date will be considered late entries, and be assessed the late entry fee of $12/piece. This goes for members as well as non-members! EXCEPTION: Youth entries are not charged a late fee.
The show will be in the upstairs room in the Women's Building at the East Texas Arboretum, 1601 Patterson Rd., Athens, TX 75751.
